STUDENTS AND PART-TIME JOB By Ashmita Bhandari
Nowadays, students prefer to do part-time jobs along with their studies. The market's dearness has increased tremendously, and goods and services have gone beyond common people’s reach. College and university tuition fees are no exception. Due to the exorbitant tuition fees of educational institutions, many students drop the idea of continuing their studies. To cope with this situation, students must find part-time jobs to continue their college or university studies.
Students need to work when they study in their own countries. They have to migrate from one town to another big city to pursue higher education. In a situation like this, they have to manage their expenditures. Expenditures on food, room rent, college tuition fees, and other miscellaneous expenses must be met regularly. For this, a steady income is necessary, and to meet such expenses, students must work.
This is also true for international students. Managing
expenses to meet daily needs in foreign lands is extremely challenging.
International students are more likely to face many hurdles abroad. The
language barrier, social mannerisms, nature of the job, and necessary skills
will determine the prospectus of job availability. Thus, it is always advisable
for students to learn the necessary skills useful in international job markets.
So that they will be successful at home and abroad simultaneously.
In conclusion, I must advise all students to develop working habits. This will keep them fit and eligible to find a job to continue their higher education.
