 SMOKING CAN RUIN YOUR LIFE

Although smoking is one of the main reasons for various health complications, many people still tend to smoke. Unfortunately, a big chunk of national income is always spent on patients who are down with smoking.

Smoking deteriorates our health and can have detrimental effects on our well-being. It can lead to serious health conditions such as lung cancer, heart disease, and respiratory problems. Chemicals present in cigarettes can harm the lungs, leading to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and a decline in lung function.

Many people are addicted to smoking and find it difficult to quit. Nicotine, the addictive substance in cigarettes, can cause physical and psychological dependency. Some people smoke expensive brands of cigarettes, cigars, and hookahs just to impress people. These smokers relate to smoking as a kind of status symbol. However, one should not forget the harmful effects of smoking later in their lives.

Although smoking has been banned in public places by the governments of many countries, as far as its application is concerned, the rule is poorly followed. It is taken as a big surprise by many people that, even though smoking does not have any health benefits, tobacco has not been completely banned. The answer is the earning of a huge amount of cash from the tax on tobacco sales. It sounds ridiculous, but the truth is that governments spend more money on the treatments caused by smoking than earnings after taxing tobacco.

Thus, the bottom line is that a complete eradication of smoking or any kind of toxic material must be banned from their consumption. This practice will improve people’s overall physical and spiritual health.
