Due to increased human activities, the present state of the environment has come under direct threat. As a result, many species have already extinct and many others are on the verge of disappearing. Thus, it is the utmost responsibility of human beings to begin damage control activities before it is too late.

Rapid population growth among underdeveloped countries has become a serious matter of concern today. More people are leaving villages and settling in cities for better opportunities. This sudden human movement to cities has put tremendous pressure on the resources available in cities. Mindless exploitation of the environment has brought an imbalance in nature. Thus, the biodiversity of the country has been negatively affected.

The population growth rate has pushed sharp demand for all kinds of vehicles. Increased numbers of vehicles have filled the surrounding environment with carbon monoxide. Such toxic gases regularly harm the protective ozone layers, exposing life to danger on Earth. Countries like China, India, Brazil, and the USA are found polluting the environment by emitting more such toxic gases to the environment.

To protect the environment, gradually all vehicles must shift from fossil fuel to electric and battery-powered vehicles. This is the only way to save this planet from being further damaged. The use of solar energy, wind energy, bioenergy, and hydropower energy can vastly improve the environment and the earth will be a better place to live in.

Every problem has a solution. There cannot be a problem without a solution. Thus, the solution to the present environmental crisis lies within our hands. Green Revolution should be launched as soon as possible. Old vehicles must be phased out, population growth rate must be put under control and more efforts should be made to introduce vehicles running on electric and batteries.
