CAN ONLINE CLASSES REPLACE PHYSICAL CLASSES IN THE DAYS TO COME?
With the help of online learning, thorough research can be done on the subject. Several websites and YouTube channels are potent sources of learning. Moreover, through Skype and similar applications, distant learning has become highly successful. During the COVID pandemic, when the nation was under complete lockdown, all colleges and schools were closed. But through Google and Skype applications, many educational institutions successfully conducted their classes. This assures the practical importance of online learning.
Google is the world’s largest library, and its services are available around the clock. Since Google has started using AI, it has become even more effective and easily accessible. Google has arranged hundreds of thousands of websites in such a way that they can be accessed within a moment. From nonprofessionals to professionals, everyone depends on Google for information. There are many books and research papers, including newspapers and magazines, available on Google. Due to the rapid pace of technology, distance learning has become more sophisticated and easily available today than ever before.
This does not mean that all people are in favor of online learning. Online learning can be a perfect alternate, but it cannot be a substitution for physical classes, say many academicians. In physical classes, students can have direct interaction with teachers. And such interactions are highly effective in helping students learn the subjects without any confusion. However, online classes can have many factors leading to technical and non-technical hitches. Internet connection, availability of a laptop or mobile phone, and a regular supply of electricity. These factors will determine the success of online classes. On the other hand, in physical classes, there is no need to ensure all these things. Just the gathering of a teacher and students is enough to run an effective class.
Thus, unless it is an emergency, a physical class is much more pragmatic for students. Online classes can be a possible alternate, but they cannot be a substitution for physical classes.

The answer is no. In person classes provide a different energy than online classes. Therefore one cannot replace the other.
